The Connected Educator Chapter 2 Summary - Tyler Tarabocchia

 This chapter in The Connected Educator expresses the importance of developing connected learning models. There are connected learning communities which are the ability to collaborate with other programs and people, and professional learning communities which can be compared to teachers and administrators having a similar goal; helping students achieve their academic goals.  These two learning communities are essential when it comes to teaching and helping others. For my future career, I am unsure what I want to be, but one of the jobs I am currently contemplating is being a business manager. Being a business manager is a lot of work and it requires me to be an open and motivating person. Connected learning communities (especially local communities) is a great way for a manager to learn and better themselves for that manager role.
